What is this This is the first time I ordered anything on line from Amazon and I was disappointed with the product mylar bags and oxygen tablets. On the order it read new bags and used bags. There was no place you could choose which one you wanted. I wanted new and I got used bags and tablets. The bags weren't in a closed container or sealed bag or anything. Why would I ever put food in an unsanitary bag? The Oxygen tablets were resealed from the original package. I am not going to risk hundreds of dollars worth of food to contaminated products. I thought Amazon was more professional than this.
Read before buying These bags are good but I wanted to use them with my vacume sealer they will not work as they have no air channel for the vacume sealer to remove the air from the bag. Otherwise product is fine.

Great Value In the past I have used mylar bag suppliers who charge much more for their products. With this deal I was able to get the Mylar bags and the oxygen absorbers for less than I would have purchased the bags for. This is a great value and I will certainly be coming back as soon as I use up this order.
bad o2 The bags were fine but the o2 absorber were all garbage. It would be nice if I had some that actually work .
Perfect for longterm food storage! These bags are the perfect size for 5 gallon buckets and have plenty of excess to allow for opening and resealing of the bags. We used 2 right away for one bucket of sugar and one bucket of rice. 24 hours after sealing them with one oxygen absorber in each bag we checked and they might as well have been vacuum sealed. I will order these again when we need more.
FAILURE I ordered the 1 and 5 gallon mylar bags with the oxygen absorbing packets watched the utube video and followed the directions and the absorbers did not work! I removed all the air possible prior to sealing and yet no shrinking or shrink wrap type contraction happened. What a waste of time! Even if I get a refund no one can get me back the time.
Easier Than I Thought it Would Be to Use These bags are now filled and sealed and have become part of my hurricane preparations. They will keep my goods safe and dry and I won't have to replace them as often. I have used them for everything from rice to dog food. All of my absorbers were in great condition and worked fine making my little 5 gallon bricks. I will be buying some more of these. You can fit far more than 5 gallons in these. If I had 6 gallon buckets I could have still had plenty of room for sealing. I did some experimenting with them in different ways of storing things with mixed results and found that the clothes iron and a 2x2 work fine for sealing. You just have to go over it a few times to make sure you are not getting channels to let air in.

Awesome product I use them for vacum sealing my venison and they work great. They also have a write on label right on the package too.

Great product! It's very simple to use. The seller Rincons sent 2 extra wires for sealing not sure what these wires are called but they're the wires that heat up and seal your bags. Just an extra little perk that I wasn't expecting. I've purchased a few sealers before and this is definitely the easiest to use and has different heat settings so you don't burn through your bags by accident which I've done with other sealers before that don't turn off until you release them. This one automatically turns off after a few seconds so you don't melt through the plastic. It's also the largest sealer I've had so finally I have a products that works for all my bags big or small.
great product This is a Great prduct it even reseals bubble wrap type bags I use this product every day at work and my coworkers use it too they even open packages just to reseal them not to mention sealing personal items as practical jokes.
good for the money this was about the lowest price i could find for one of these. unfortunately the unit was defective but the customer service was OUTSTANDING in replacing it. i really was very impressed and the replacement works well. it does take some trial and error to get a neat edge but once you get it down the unit works very nicely.
Easyway 16 Heat Sealer It works well for bags that are not for heavy duty. It shorts out easy on the heavy duty bags. The company I ordered from gave very good service. The first sealer shorted out after a few bags were sealed. The company sent us another sealer right away. We ordered this through Amazon.

Economical Buying the replacement pack on Amazon was cheaper than buying from a local grocery store. room for improvement Pros portable cheaper than a foodsaverCons Batteries don't last long seal is trickyHaven't heard about a recall mentioned in other review need to research if they pull it off the market bags might get hard to find. I use mine for keeping frozen pet food micein the freezer. It goes through the batteries pretty quick but I plan to rig mine with a DC adapter. The suction head is a little tricky picking up a seal. Lot of time wasted trying to position it just right. When it does pick up suction the bags seal up fine and work pretty well. No complaints once you get it to work.
Device is good but bags not good I have used this product for two years. Not so much on reynolds bags. I do not like these. I used it mostly on Food Saver containers. On these containers it worked perferctly plus it give added advantage of being portable. Like when I go camping. I really like this vacuum sealer in the way I use it.

Junk!! 100% Pure Unadulterated Junk!!! This appliance had work wonderfully at first.That isuntil the time came to replace the batteries! Then from there things just started to go down hill with this item!Had to replace the blasted batteries every 2 weeks for 2 months. Wouldn't suck the air out of the bags! Even went so far as to buy another unit.
It is handy and work super well! I have had this product for about two years just since it appeared on the market. It is wonderful very powerful press it and only take three seconds then the bag is totally airfree and really runs long way with six AA batereries. I use it to pack opened cheese the most of time and the cheese stays fresh and last long. I am very happy with it and also recommanded this product to friends at my blog.
Soooo disappointed! I was so excited to finally find the Reynolds Hand Vac system. I had looked every where and thought I'd never find one. I had one last year but my grandson broke it. That's one reason I decided to buy two from Amazon. Imagine my extreme disappointment when neither of the the Hand Vacs would work. I even replaced the batteries the ones that came in the Handi vac were corroded and they still would not work. Now I have a lot of Reynolds Handi Vac bags & no way to use them. I would have sent both of them back but I had thrown away all the information.

AWFUL! DO NOT BUY! Bought this at the Shopping Channel in Canada and spent $30 for 2 which was supposed to be a deal but obviously not. This machine doesn't even work most of the time and if you are lucky enough to get a seal it's gone in a day or so. Most things never keep a seal and it has nothing to do with there being something in the ziplock area. as the directions indicate Also they state on tv that it's good for pretty much anything dry goods meat etc. but in the package directions they recommend that it's only used for freezer goods. The bags are almost impossible to find and when you do they are very expensive.

A must have item! Great item great price.I tried and returned a few of the new models that had all the bells and whistles. They didn't work! I had this same unit for about 7 years and was heartbroken when it died. THIS IS THE MODEL TO GET. IT IS A WORKHORSE!Make sure that you put a paper towel in the bag if you have juices that will be extracted. Keep sealer bar clean at all time. It doesn't matter what brand of plastic rolls you get. Don't forget to use a marker to record that date on the bag. They may say three years is OK to for freezer life but I would not go over one year for anything. Enjoy.
Great product with the use of the right tools The product works great as long as you have the right attachments and/or bags. Apples in the bag have stayed for over 2 weeks cut up and still taste good. amazon good for its word I ordered this item to replace one of a different brand that had worn out. Knowing that I can trust Amazon I ordered this Deni 1921 Magic Vac Supreme vacuum sealer. It has exceeded expectations. What was truly amazing was that in just a few days after ordering the product arrived well before I expected it.
It worked for the first part of the day We bought this just today and I am now packaging this up to send back to Amazon. I thought we would be happy with it even though it didn't vacuum like it should.
Works well very quiet This machine is much better than the Black and Decker model I currently have. It is very quiet vacuums well wih two different vacuum levels and has a separate sealing option without having to use the vacuum function. It also reseals regular package bags such as potato ships snacks etc. Effectively seals Black and Decker bags Foodsaver bags and Weston vacuum sealer bags.
