Very Handy Device After having the large Foodsaver machines over the past 10 years or so I decided to try this system. It is easy to use and works well to keep cheese very fresh over a few weeks haven't needed to keep it longer. I just would like them to come out with freezer bags for this. As of now they are only for the refrigerator. Some people have used them in the freezer but I would be concerned that they are not strong enough for longer term storage.It is a pleasure to be able to get in and out so quickly and easily without taking out my large Foodsaver each time. You must follow the directions exactly and be sure the 'zipper' is completely closed before removing the air. If you don't see the bag starting to pull closely against the food that is your clue that the zipper isn't fully closed. I get about 15 to 20 one quart bag uses before the machine needs to be recharged. I just plug it in overnight and done. It takes up almost no room on the counter so it is always at the ready. The bags can be used over and over again.
Fresh saver Great! Love it. Have used it with zipper bags and canister. Works great with both. Bags are resealable and reusable too.
